REST YOUR MIND -OPEN YOUR HEART For over 25 years I have been both a LMFT and a Buddhist meditation teacher (see OccidentalLagunaSangha.org), but I work with clients of all beliefs. I bring mindfulness practices, focusing therapy, depth psychology, cognitive behavioral therapy and lots of life experience to my work with clients. Clients often bring depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and life transitions to our work. Together with empathy and compassion we explore what cuts us off from being more fully present with our lives.

Groups
Meditation group, Zen/Vipassana
I am transmitted to teach in the Zen tradition but I have studied and also teach Vipassana mindfulness meditation. The group is relaxed and informal. Thirty minutes of meditation, ten minutes of walking meditation then a lecture and discussion on a Buddhist topic relating to everyday life.
