I have worked with children, and their parents, adolescents, adult men and women since 1984. I see people with a variety of concerns, which includes, but is not limited to, developing more rewarding relationships, parenting issues, making transitions in their lives, and loss & grief. Many people today feel overwhelmed with the pressures of living and trying to keep their heads above water. I help them to strategize ways to reach their chosen goals, and how to take better care for themselves and those they love.
I work collaboratively with people to help them articulate their strengths, goals, and the impediments which keep them from moving ahead. When people are given a meaningful way to understand their problems which have gotten in the way, they are able to make substantive changes.
I am highly trained with a wide breadth of experience. I also am a real person without pretense, who is spontaneous, quite interactive, empathic, humorous (at times), and very dedicated to assisting my clients, not only with their problems but in better appreciating themselves and their strengths.
