My name is Brooke Peterson, and I am a Master's Level Clinical Mental Health intern under the supervision of Christine Keys, LMHC. I enjoy working with a variety of clients and have years of experience working with children, adolescents, teens, young adults, and parents. I have experience working with individuals and families who have experienced trauma, are going through phase of life changes or struggles, experience anxiety and/or depression, stress, behavioral problems, ADHD, and internal family conflict.
My approach is warm, empathetic, and challenging. I use an integrative approach, identifying the needs, strengths, and goals of each client and applying interventions from multiple theoretical orientations, including but not limited to CBT, Mindfulness, and Internal Family Systems approaches.
