My approach begins with the belief that individuals are resilient and may benefit from utilizing their strengths to increase their resiliency. I can assist in attaining lifestyle balance, developing healthy coping skills, recognizing your priorities and problem-solving.
I offer an eclectic approach of modalities that will best fit the needs of the client. Therapeutic modalities used include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Narrative and Solution-focused therapy, and Mindfulness techniques. I have extensive experience as a counselor for adolescents, teens, and young adults.
Clients that are depressed, anxious, struggling with life skills, lack organization or focus and have peer relationship struggles will work to create a plan to make better life choices, be more mindful, and build happiness into their lives.
