Life can often feel overwhelming–you’re carrying a lot on your shoulders–and as a result, you feel stuck in a rut or routine. Please know that this narrative can change; it’s possible to find peace, and we're here to help. Our therapeutic relationship is the most important aspect of therapy, and so my objective is always to provide a space where folks feel safe and heard and like they can be their authentic selves within a session. I use a warm, validating approach balanced with a directness that is clear and affirming. I utilize a person-centered approach and believe that clients should be co-creators in their own paths to healing.
Progress on that path has a lot to do with developing mindfulness skills–skills I’ve witnessed past clients grow–that result in knowing when we need to break our routines, slow down, and be present. With you at the helm, I offer opportunities for healing to occur.
I am passionate about working with individuals with disordered eating, anxiety, and negative body image, with which I utilize an anti-diet approach.
