There are many stressors and situations in life that may cause disconnect from our selves and/or our loved ones. This may lead to feelings of irritability, sadness, stuck-ness, and overall less fulfillment. In my approach, I aim to reestablish or strengthen the connection one has with themself and others. I believe in building awareness of how previous experiences shape our current reality and working towards a better reality with lower and better managed distress. We will work to increase coping and interpersonal skills and lean into your unique strengths and values. I utilize compassion, curiosity, and humor in my work.
I approach all treatment collaboratively, through a trauma-informed and systemic lens. I use aspects of Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Somatic Experiencing. I specialize in treating low self-esteem, anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and interpersonal conflict. I work with individuals, couples, and families.
All of us experience difficulties in life. Being able to be understood and supported through these experiences can lessen their emotional burden and increase how intentionally we navigate them.
