I have found my passion in helping Millennial and Gen Z women who are dealing with symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and other life stressors. I create a non-judgmental space for my clients to show up just as they are. I believe in working collaboratively with clients using humor, validation, and empathy to build a solid connection which then allows for clients to feel safe enough to try explore societal norms and expectations that have prevented them from living their idealized life. In my experience I've found that when clients are able to try out new ways of being they can achieve the healing they've been desiring.
I heavily pull from EMDR therapy when conceptualizing cases. That being said, I also pull from other well researched models such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Polyvagal Theory (PVT) and other systemic approaches. There is no "right" approach to therapy, only what works best for each person. I love teletherapy!
I believe people have the capacity to heal themselves if only given the appropriate space and support to do so. I want to be a support person for my clients so they are able to reach their full potential. Each person brings such different things to the table, I truly think it's an honor to be able to witness my clients grow, heal, and adapt.
