What is going on with me? Why do I feel this way? How do I fix it? I’ve tried everything to get a handle on it and yet it continues. I feel anxious about my most important relationships and yet afraid that if I change, or do things differently, it will not work out for me. I don't want to lose anything or anyone yet something has to give. I just don't know what or how. My life is fine in many ways yet underneath it all, I'm a tired of being the one to do and give. At times I feel I'm invisible, lost and lonely, even though it may not seem it. There's an uncomfortable thing, like a weight. I'm stuck and it's not good for me.
The way I help you is to listen to what you have to say about what is important to you. The heart of therapy is the honest conversation we build. At times, I may ask a question but mainly I'll make supportive comments and observations that show how I'm hearing and understanding what you say. I also offer suggestions, ideas, resources when you need them.
