My goal as a psychotherapist is to help you live a deliberate, self-actualized, and peaceful life. We all struggle with anxiety and depression at times. We push people away when we want them close, we act contrary to our best interest and don't know why. I can help illuminate patterns of behaviors and beliefs that impede your ability to reach your potential. Together, we can identify those invisible forces that drive your behavior and cause stagnation, pain, broken relationships, and missed opportunities. I take an anti-oppressive lens and provide space to explore the corrosive impact of external influences (ie: caste, race, gender)
The foundation of effective therapy is trust. My approach is warm, supportive, collaborative, and holistic. I use EMDR, one of the most effective ways of treating PTSD, trauma, and other adverse experiences. I practice Supportive Psychotherapy, Family Systems Therapy, CBT, and DBT. I am a certified Hatha Yoga instructor and teach meditation and Tapping.
