It is important to connect with a therapist who makes you feel supported and understood. I am passionate about helping my clients achieve personal growth through a collaborative and nonjudgemental approach. I believe that my warmth and compassion create a therapeutic environment that allows my clients to engage in self-exploration and helps them move toward a place of increased well-being. I work with teens and adults, and my areas of interest lie in treating anxiety, depression, life transitions, interpersonal challenges, disordered eating, body image concerns, trauma, and sports-related pressures.
My background as an athlete has increased my awareness of the various performance-based pressures that can impact well-being and growth. My training and past experience has allowed me to have a unique understanding of struggles with body image, performance anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and disordered eating.
I aim to provide a safe and supportive space to process past experiences, develop as individuals, and cope with the demands and challenges involved with being human. I pull from a variety of evidence-based approaches in my work to tailor to the individual needs of each of my clients.
