Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, uncertain, or stressful and we can feel unsure about how to navigate through those next steps. Unfortunately, those feelings of stress and uncertainty don't discriminate based on age and even young children can feel the weight and effects of those challenges. My hope and goal is to be able to come alongside of you and join you and your child's support team as you learn to navigate those life stressors and challenges. I can provide counseling from a Christian perspective for those that are interested. I am client-centered and strengths-based.
I have skills equipped to address an array of issues including trauma, emotional dysregulation, depression, and anxiety. I have experience working with children and foster families involved in the child welfare system. I additionally have experience providing crisis interventions to adolescents and their families that are at risk for out of home placements.
My goal is to build a warm, supportive, comfortable environment so that my clients feel safe enough to engage in identifying their needs and embark on a journey towards growth and development.
