If you have experienced a trauma, I would love to work with you. Helping clients heal from trauma, which includes managing their stress and anxiety, is my area of expertise. Additionally, I’ll work with you to improve your self-esteem, improve your quality of sleep, and strengthen your relationships with others. This is especially true with couples (e.g., positive communication, strengthening bonds, improving sexual health/managing intimacy issues). In addition to individuals who have experienced sexual trauma, I particularly enjoy working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, children and adolescents, families, and couples.
In addition to a Master's in Social Work, I completed the Certificate in Trauma Practice program at Simmons University. I also have both lived and professional experience working with military families. My sessions incorporate elements from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and mindfulness practices.
My clients appreciate my ability to actively listen and empathize with the issues they bring to therapy.
