Welcome! My name is Brittany and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have worked in the field of mental health and addiction for more than 15 years. I specialize in working with individuals struggling with substance use, gender identity, sexuality, and trauma. Operating from a trauma-informed perspective, I aim to help my clients understand that they are not responsible for what happened to them, but they do have the ability to overcome life's challenges. This includes identifying how systemic oppression, cultural expectations, and generational cycles can affect one's wellbeing and sense of identity.
I utilize a mix of evidence-based, culturally-sensitive approaches, including harm-reduction, motivational interviewing, strengths-based, CBT, and DBT.
