For as long as I can remember, I have been passionate about helping people. When I was eight years old, I begged my mother to let me start an advice column in the local newspaper. Although she didn’t allow it, that didn’t stop me from listening to my friends and helping them solve their problems. While therapists aren’t advice-givers, I love being a sounding board for individuals and helping them live their best lives—lives they often never thought they could live. I am passionate about helping people achieve the possible. At NOCD, my team and I specialize in providing evidence-based treatment for people with OCD.
Our understanding of the nuances and intricacies of OCD enables us to properly diagnose and treat it. We have received intensive training in Exposure Response and Prevention Therapy (ERP)—the gold standard treatment for OCD. When you start with NOCD, you’ll either work with me or be paired with one of my colleagues – this will depend on your preferences.
We’ll work to get to know you and create a personalized treatment plan to help you achieve your goals. Plus, we offer support between sessions through direct messaging and a community of peers with OCD, ensuring you never feel alone. I look forward to working with you and helping you conquer your OCD.
