I specialize working with children and adolescents who are experiencing emotional, behavioral, and/or academic issues in school and/or at home, and I also offer parent consultations and coaching. I believe parents are an integral part of a child's healing, and I work closely with parents regarding parenting challenges and finding optimal ways to help your child. Together we can help your child recognize the emotions they are feeling, increase their self-control, and help them develop regulation skills.
I have nearly 20 years of experience working with children, parents, and families in various settings, including education and mental health counseling. I love using my creative energy from my teaching background in counseling. My goal is to work together with parents, children, and other professionals to help a child reach their therapeutic and life goals.
