I was born and raised in the great city South Los Angeles, Ca. I believe it is important to break generational trauma in addition to learning healthy coping skills to manage personal and familial conflict. I have experience working with adolescents, teens and adults utilizing interventions from cognitive behavioral therapy, solution focused therapy and mindfulness practices. I believes that therapy is not a “cookie cutter” approach and all clients deserve individualized services that provide opportunities for reflection and growth.
I have a Master’s Degree in Social Work with a concentration in Children and Families from the University of Southern California. (Fight On!) I also have a background in both Community and School-Based Mental Health programs, working with depression, anxiety and stress management.
Outside of work, I absolutely love singing off key in the car and reading books in my spare time.
