My mission is to create a safe container where all individuals; regardless of age, experience with art, time spent in therapy, or “diagnosis;” can gain access to a purposeful means to find healing. What excites me about the Creative & Expressive Arts is that the modality is so rich, accessible, and transformative. An exercise that seems so seamless and simple, allows you to gain a great insight into yourself that may otherwise have taken months to access in traditional talk therapy. The exercises that can be provided as “homework” or facilitated in an individual session or a small group workshop setting, can allow you to look inward
Creative & Expressive Arts therapy allows you to look at and connect with the world in a pure and honest way that gives life more meaning. It gives you the tools to access and give language to your emotions that went without a voice for too long. Once you begin practicing this work, you find yourself more grounded, genuine, and at peace.
I am a Licensed Substance-Use Counselor, Expressive Arts Facilitator, and Reiki Practitioner. I am an advocate for utilizing energy healing and holistic alternatives to help individuals access undiscovered emotions and reconnect with their authentic self. I hold individual and group sessions.
