Trauma and the effects of trauma can be relentless on one's mind, body and spirit. The effects of trauma can last for years if not addressed and or dealt with. The burden of trauma not only effects the individual, but the trauma can bleed into surrounding areas of one's life and rob one of emotionally and physically healing from one's wounds. If you are struggling with trauma and or the aftermath of someone else's trauma, I am here to help and together we can make short- and long-term goals in order to help you heal from the wounds that have caused you pain both physically, emotionally and spiritually.
I am a therapist that utilizes various forms of therapy to address trauma. I primarily use cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and person-centered therapy, but I base my treatment plans per each individual that comes into therapy. My goal as a therapist is to develop a treatment plan that best suits you as the individual.
If you are struggling with trauma, I want to encourage you to reach out to somebody you trust in order to help you handle the things that are weighing you down.
