Understanding the value that therapy can bring to a person’s health and wellbeing, I strive to provide a safe space for everyone who enters my office. I have experience working with a diverse population providing individual, couples and family therapy. Although I may be an expert in the field, I know my clients are experts in their own lives. By working together, I hope changes can be made and for their goals to be reached.
I work collaboratively with my clients and use a relational, systems-based lens to determine the best approach. These include Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Solutions Focused Therapy, and Structural Therapy. Being a systems therapist, I pay close attention to patterns and look to understand the individual and how they relate to the world.
My style is active, empathetic, and non-judgmental which allows for a trusting and collaborative partnership. I believe that once the therapeutic relationship has been built, space is created that allows for learning, understanding, and long-lasting positive change.
