I am a bilingual (Spanish/English), bicultural Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 30 years of experience in mental and public health. I am committed to providing high-quality holistic care for all my clients through evidence-based practices and culturally responsive interventions. My approach is positive, insight-oriented, and supportive wellness guidance. I believe that my clientele has the power to build the life they want, and my role is to assist them in formulating and executing a path conducive toward optimal levels of functioning to achieve their potential.
I utilize tailored approaches including EMDR, Hypnotherapy, CBT, Gestalt, Humanistic therapies, among others, to assist my clients in eliminating a limited mentality and embracing greater integrity, authenticity, and wellness.
First, I read my notes from the client's file to have their information fresh in my mind. As soon as I meet the client I greet s/he in a welcoming way. I smile and say something such as "Good to see you (name) and then a bit of small talk.
