I provide therapy for individuals and couples, specializing in relationship difficulties. My particular interest and expertise is working with people suffering from anxiety, depression and trauma. I use a psychoanalytic approach with an emphasis on genuine connection and empowerment. This is helpful to bring understanding and insight to past experiences, that may be impacting one's behavior, feelings and patterns, allowing them to remain stuck. I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and am deeply committed to a strong working alliance with each of my clients, resulting in effective treatment and authentic change.
I try to create a trustworthy, nonjudgmental environment where a client feels understood and able to reveal their inner life struggles in a safe place. I help clients to understand themselves more fully and we work collaboratively to break through barriers standing in between clients and their potential for joy. I tailor my treatment for each client.
I am a warm, empathetic and trauma informed, psychotherapist who is passionate about helping clients receive holistic health in their relationships and day to day life.
