Some days can feel like a challenge even waking up and the world can feel like a daunting place. It can be increasingly difficult to stay in the present moment when your mind is moving a mile a minute and you may not know the next best thing. The future can bring about anxiety and the past can bring up sadness but the present moment can be just what it is. I work with clients to explore what it means to live a valued life from their own definition and how to implement that plan. The strength and power are already within you and I believe that you may be able to find it with a little support.
I began working in the addictions field during the pandemic when people felt most isolated and began the pursuit of my Certification in Alcohol and Drug Counseling. Since then, I has been able to see people regain the life they desire whether that is substance use or mood disorders. I offer a space to learn how to reclaim the life you deserve.
I like to believe that everyone has a story and I would love to provide a place to hear yours. The times have been tough for quite a few people and I believe its important to take time to be mindful of what emotions, thoughts, and challenges that means to you exactly. I encourage you to take the time and energy you deserve with therapy.
