As a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with specialized training in neuropsychology, I focus on brain-behavior relationships and the use of evidence-based practices. I completed my postdoctoral training in neuropsychology at Yale University. I have also trained at Weill-Cornell Medical College and Columbia University in the treatment and evaluation of neurobehavioral disorders. At present, I am an adjunct professor at NYU in the department of Applied Psychology. In my practice, I employ cognitive-behavioral techniques to help patients understand the relationships between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.
My research and clinical expertise involves schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders, the psychiatric sequelae of brain injuries, and the cognitive and psychological aspects of various dementias. In addition to psychotherapy, I offer psychological, cognitive, and neuropsychological testing/evaluations as well as cognitive remediation services.
As an advocate of the recovery model, I believe all individuals with mental illness can lead fulfilling lives using proven and established methods. I view therapy as an active, collaborative, and scientific venture aimed at reducing symptomatology and improving quality of life.

This is a group designed to educate, connect, and support family members and caregivers of individuals with schizophrenia and related psychotic disorders. Group members will gain a better understanding of psychoses, as well as will learn techniques to help manage and respond to psychotic symptoms.

Neurodegenerative Disease Group for Family Members
Neurodegenerative diseases impact the whole family. This support group helps family members and care givers to connect with one another as well as gain a better understanding of the disease process. CBT techniques are also utilized to help members to learn better ways to communicate and interact with their loved ones.
