Our past experiences, especially childhood experiences, directly influence who we are today, either consciously or unconsciously. A trained, empathetic therapist can help you unravel some of those past experiences to figure out why we do something and then intentionally do something that brings in healing. I believe that effective therapy can help someone choose a better future and to get out of the shadows of their past. The work can be hard, but if done with the right therapist, it can feel rewarding and enlightening.
I am Gottman Level 2 and Lifespan level 1 trained. I specialize helping those with PTSD, betrayal trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship/attachment fractures, sex/porn addiction, parenting support and co-parenting support. Whether you are going through a difficult life transition or want to uncover the deeper layers of what is holding you back, I am here.
My favorite quote is by Maya Angelou who says, "Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better." Therapy is a great way to start that journey of healing self-sabotaging or destructive patterns and finding a more authentic version of yourself. I would be honored to help you through that journey of finding your authentic YOU.
