Aloha! I specialize in systemically focused treatment with individuals, couples, and families as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. I have excellent counseling abilities as well as an instinctive grasp of interpersonal familial dynamics, which has helped my clients get a deeper understanding of their behaviors and progress toward their therapeutic goals. I typically work with couples and individuals who are motivated to learn more about their behaviors and are motivated towards their healing. I work well with clients experiencing grief, anxiety, low-self-esteem and those who need help setting healthy boundaries.
My approach to therapy begins with providing clients with a secure and healthy environment in which they may explore their difficulties without fear of criticism. The theoretical methods that I employ are determined by the clients I work with and their presenting issues. I typically utilize an Experiential or Humanistic approach.
