My personality and therapeutic approach allows me to be accessible to all ages. I am experienced in working with young adults and children (7 and up) with a wide variety of challenges. I am most familiar with relationship concerns, trauma, divorce, disordered eating, self-esteem, anxiety, depression, and substance use. When working with children, I take a collaborative approach with the parents on how to best meet the child's needs. I believe enhancing communication within the family system and providing guardians with support and tools is crucial to creating lasting change.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Positive Psychology, Solution Focused Therapy, and Play Therapy. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology and a Graduate Certificate in Integrative and Holistic Health. My approach is very holistic, and I value a mind-body approach. I plan on equipping you with tools that you feel comfortable using.
I believe counseling is a process of deeply healing the mind and soul, with the goal of alleviating your symptoms. I will make the office as comfortable as possible so that you will feel safe to share your thoughts, feelings, and beliefs. Together we will create a plan of action that best suits your needs.
