My focus is living in the present and being where your feet land, to be in the present and focus on the current. I received my master's degree Social Work from Wayne State University. I have provided mental health services to adolescents, younger adults, and seniors in psychiatric and medical health settings.
My approach is based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, which focuses on thought recognition and behavior patterns. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy helps to identify emotions and thoughts to then recognize how they impact actions.
I have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, stress management, coping skills, triggers, and life changes. I am passionate about learning new knowledge and always eager to find new ways of reaching and helping my clients to best improve their well-being. Starting on 3/14/23, Brianna will be providing Virtual Group Therapy on Understanding Anxiety and Depression. Discussion topics to include: Triggers, Anxiety vs Depression, Thinking Patterns, Grounding Techniques, Boundaries, Emotions. We will incorporate evidence-based skills to support members in day-to-day anxiety in confidentiality and total privacy. Learn to challenge your negative thoughts and improve distress tolerance for greater confidence. Our treatment is covered by most major insurance companies.
