Brian (he/his/him) is a social psychologist, Delaware-licensed master social worker. Graduating from University of Delaware with a PhD in Sociology in 2014, he worked as a Sociology professor at several DE and PA universities and colleges, educating students on a variety of topics from race/ethnicity, human sexuality, social problems, and technological change. He also functioned as an LBGTQ+ Safe Space trainer, sensitizing faculty and staff to the needs of students identifying as LBGTQ+. Since then, Brian has worked as a counselor in private practice, helping clients with a variety of mental health concerns.
Brian primarily utilizes DBT, CBT, and ACT, using the framework that we are all the hero in our own story, embarking on an epic journey of self-discovery. These journeys are never taken alone and Brian creates a safe, helpful environment for each client to gain the knowledge and take the steps that will enrich their lives.
