Hi, my name is Brian McDaniels, I'm a licensed marriage and family therapist and love to practice outdoors as an eco-therapist. My professional focus has been on addictions-recovery, mindfulness and client-centered therapies. I enjoy a collaborative approach. I believe everyone benefits from the opportunity to share thoughts and feelings with a good listener; it is so helpful for gaining clarity, insight and motivation.
I believe each of us has an internal ideal that we can align with. The roots of our best self are there. Peace is the objective, but it does not arise automatically, we must work toward it. It's worth the effort for the increased vitality, self-care and happiness that arises.
I seek to really hear and understand my clients. It is a courageous thing to pursue self-understanding and growth. Sessions are all about holding space for the client and supporting them in clarifying their values and developing deeper authenticity. I'd be so honored to join you in this journey.
