Immediate Openings! I use a strength based; person centered approach in a collaborative manner to assist my clients to see HOPE as they face challenges in life. I have worked as a counselor for over 20 years in a variety of settings. These include outpatient community mental health, crisis services, corporate/workplace settings, and owning and operating a private Christian counseling practice. I also have experience in training law enforcement on how to better assist individuals in a mental health crisis.
I meet clients where they are in life and provide support and counseling to help address personal challenges. I have a Master's Degree in Pastoral Clinical Counseling and also hold a bachelor’s degree from Ohio University in Exercise Science and aspire to educate people on how the use of exercise in the counseling process can positively impact them.
I work with my clients in a collaborative approach to allow them to leave each session seeing that they have been heard and validated and that there is HOPE in their journey. I encourage open and honest communication and emphasize that the client is the expert on themselves.
