I specialize in Anxiety, ADHD, Autism, Depression, and Trauma. As a member of the Association for Play Therapy, I look for ways to include playfulness in treatment for children, adolescents, and adults. I provide individual, family, and group therapy services. Together, we look to develop goals that connect the person inward with their thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and body—at the same time, looking at how they connect socially with the world around them. To help to have a better relationship with themselves and others.
I combine Trauma-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Autplay techniques to help children, adolescents, families, and adults address various needs. Using geek and gaming to connect with my clients, I want to try to help you roll, write, act, or speak the story where you are better.
My focus is not solely on therapeutic gaming, as your wellness is the core focus. If more traditional talk therapy is needed or more suited, then that is the approach we will take. For some, talk therapy supplies the catharsis they are seeking. For others, gaming therapy can create positive change as well. Let's find what works for you.

Groups
Gaming Approaches Toward Education, LLC
G.A.T.E. helps youths through role play and tabletop games to build skills that are developed within their therapy session. Our goal is to build up our youths and through them, their friends, family, and communities. Our game-based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) groups are separated by chronological age/developmental age, diagnosis, interests, and goals. Clinicians and their assistants will be working together to aid youths using role-playing, collaborative, and/or co-creative play. Less intense social skills groups are available, and rates vary based on social skills groups, group counseling sessions, and youth's needs.
