People often say "Love yourself", but what does that truly mean? How can you do that if you've never experienced self-love before? I am a BIPOC, LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent affirming clinician that wants to see marginalized people love themselves and flourish in their communities. I believe you should not only feel allowed to take up space but thrive in it! My job is to guide you through that process in becoming your best self, on your terms.
My calm, non-judgmental, and strengths-based approach will allow you to discover what is within your control and how to use that to your advantage. I want to understand who you are as a person, your past, and how that has impacted your self-image. I also utilize DBT to teach effective tools for anxiety and stress management that will help you reach goals
Having the bravery to reach out for help is the first best step you can take. I maintain a safe environment that encourages you to love yourself and embrace the qualities that are meaningful to you.
