Deciding on entering therapy may be one of the most important decisions a person can make. Choosing a therapist can be a difficult decision. For over 25 years, I have helped individuals during times of difficulties and stress. I bring a compassionate, holistic, and professional approach, to my work, while creating a kind, safe, supportive and respectful environment.
Through clinical trainings and experience, I have developed expertise in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and addictions. I am certified in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (see EMDR.com), a treatment method used to help with a variety of problems ranging from trauma to phobias (i.e. fear of flying, test anxiety).
As an Addiction Specialist, I treat many compulsive behaviors (alcohol, drugs, binge eating, shopping, etc.) along with helping family members who are affected by addiction.
