Hi, my name is Breia. I have been working in the field of substance use and mental health for the past 8 years. I am a licensed mental health counselor and an international alcohol and drug counselor. I received my MS in Mental Health Counseling from Drake University in 2017. I have also received training in dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT). I have served and continue to have a passion serving those who have experienced anxiety, depression, complex trauma, emotional intensity, grief and loss, substance use, and more.
Life brings joys and hardships to us all. My goal is to be a support as people go through these different times of life. By identifying patterns we can work together to bring acceptance and understanding to events throughout life. My belief is that everyone has their own inner wisdom which we can become reacquainted with through therapy and mindfulness.
