My experience includes working with clients in trauma and crisis settings. I also have experience with helping clients develop a healthy body image, reducing anxiety and depression, navigating faith related struggles, aiding in the grief process, and healing from race related trauma. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Working with the LGBTQ+ community, Latinx community, and Black community in Utah has solidified my approach to be patient centered.
I currently specialize in treating symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, racial identity, LGBTQAI+, and faith transitions. In Utah it can be difficult to find a therapist that validates all parts of your identity. My goal is to help you identify your goals and help empower you to get there.
Making the first step to contact a therapist can be intimidating. I understand the bravery it takes to prioritize your mental health. Feel free to give me a call to see if I am a good fit for you without the pressure of committing to a session.
