Are you experiencing grief or loss? Are you struggling with any relationship issues or identity concerns? Are you having a hard time adjusting to school, or feeling anxious about starting school or higher education? Perhaps you are struggling to connect with groups of people who may share similar interests? I have experience working with adolescents, young and middle aged adults, and older adults. I also have experience working with individuals in fandom based populations. I have experience working with a variety of issues such as grief and loss, sexual identity and gender exploration, self-esteem, relationship stressors, etc..
I use a person-centered and holistic approach in counseling sessions. I try to understand clients’ personal strengths, values, and accomplishments to help work towards goals and overcome barriers. I also use interventions such as talk therapy, mindfulness, and expressive arts. I try to adapt my approaches that best fit my clients' needs.
Sometimes the thought of reaching out to a therapist can ignite powerful emotions such fear, anger, shame, grief, etc. This is a very common experience. Connecting with a therapist is a huge first step! I would be honored to listen to your story and support you on your journey. Please contact me today for us to walk on these Healing Paths together.
