Family play therapy that focuses on the child's strengths and building a stronger relationship within the family. Does your child or adolescent have difficulty sharing his feelings or expressing his frustrations? Family play therapy is fun and encourages children to express their feelings through play rather than traditional talk therapy. I provide a comfortable and safe environment to allow individuals to share their story and begin working through their difficulties. The family and I as a whole work together to explore the problem, build goals, and find solutions that are reasonable and individually constructed for each family.
My passion is helping children, teens, and their families with challenging situations in their life. I believe medication masks the true root of the problem, so I use play therapy, art therapy, and sandplay therapy with families that are struggling with behavior problems, Autism, depression, school difficulties, divorce, parenting skills, and grief.
