Those who have a why to live can bear any how. Many of us are in some form of suffering, and this can derail us from a meaningful life. Learning how to live with our pain so as to gain purpose and meaning is a true endeavor. From a collaborative process, I help my clients to establish what purpose they seek and discover ways to validate our pain, learning to control rather than being controlled by our fears, depression, et cetera. Through therapeutic interventions, we can learn to accept how we think, feel, and act. Subsequently allowing us the opportunity to discover new areas for growth and healing..
Primary treatment involves an Existential-Cognitive-Neuroscience approach supported by CBT and DBT interventions to help clients learn about their pain and understand how to heal to improve their overall quality of life.
My training and approach promotes an authentic relationship with my clients so as to identify pain and suffering, whereas utilizing interventions to improve healing and the client's overall self-problem-solving abilities.
