Since graduating with a Master's in Social Work from the University of Utah in 1999, I have been actively involved in encouraging clients on the path to healthy change. I believe that every person possesses the ability to solve their own problems. My role as a therapist is to ask the right questions, encourage and celebrate each courageous step in the change process, and provide a non-judgmental space for that change.
Learning how to regulate emotions, improve relationships, and encouraging individuals, couples, and families to connect to their best self is rewarding work. I also believe that being kind to yourself first, then to others, is an important step in the change process.
I enjoy working with adults, adolescents and couples. I have also been recently certified in EMDR. In my time away from work, I enjoy being active. Running, pickleball, tennis, golf, and basketball are my go-to activities, as well as spending time with my favorite humans, my family!
