I enjoy helping children, teens, and adults face their current challenges and find a path to wellness that allows them to flourish. I have experience working with a variety of clients of all ages. Areas of focus often include anxiety/stress, ADHD, depression, self-esteem, behavioral problems at home or school, social skills, life changes/transitions, toxic job recovery, OCD, compulsive thoughts, ASD, and more. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where all that enter my door feel heard, empowered and safe to examine what is not working for them and find new habits.
I work from a client-centered, strengths-based approach that utilizes cognitive behavior therapy techniques most often, in combination with other modalities. I find that distorted thought patterns many times impact clients in an unhelpful way. Helping clients identify realistic and constructive ways of thinking leads to a greater sense of well-being.

This group is for middle school boys entering 6th through 8th grade for the upcoming 2024 school year. The focus of the group will be to work on building therapeutic coping skills, through the themes of Star Wars, to help deal with topics such as, but not limited to: Anger Management Like A Jedi, Dealing with Emotions Like Luke Skywalker, Friendship Lessons with Han and Chewbacca, and more.
