I enjoy working with clients that have a genuine interest in learning more about themselves and why they have developed certain healthy and unhealthy coping skills. I have experience working with clients that have experienced Anxiety, PTSD, Depression, Trauma, Grief and Loss and with clients that have just felt lost. As a therapist I consider myself a guide that helps others navigate life’s up and downs; such as, love, loss, illness, work stress and life/career transitions.
I have been working in the mental health field for over 14 years. My therapeutic approach is psychodynamic, solution focused and client centered. This means I am trained in several different kinds of therapy, which I use interchangeably to address the specific issues/concerns of each client.
My hope is that our time together will help you gain some insight and peace of mind. We will begin by establishing clear and attainable treatment goals. We will celebrate the small successes and learn how to keep moving forward when the journey to self improvement feels long and weary. You will learn to build resiliency and self-empowerment.
