I have specialized training in pediatric and child psychology as well as over 30 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural, ethnic, and religious backgrounds. I am sensitive to each person's belief system and strive to maintain a therapeutic environment that is open, accepting, and non-judgmental. In addition to a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology, I have a Master's Degree in Theology - both from Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, CA. I am comfortable integrating all faith systems and traditions into the therapy sessions.
In addition to helping people cope with serious medical issues, I have extensive experience treating all ages for mental health concerns. Most of my work involves addressing anxiety, worry, stress, sadness, depression, frustration and anger. I have a background in athletics, and I also do quite a bit of work in performance/sports psychology.
I provide remote therapy by phone, Zoom, or FaceTime based on client preference. The vast majority of my clients report that they prefer the convenience of not traveling to an office for an appointment, they feel more relaxed, and they tend disclose more information when they are not face-to-face. Please reach out and let me know how I can help.
