I have a diverse and experienced background in helping teenagers, adults, and families through challenging times. You will gain tools you can use right away to begin making progress on the goals set in counseling. I have provided solution-focused therapy with results for my clients for over 20 years. I additionally use cognitive-behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate insight and growth. I specialize in therapy for young adults and teens and have had many successful first meetings that create the trust and rapport to gain meaningful results. I emphasize communication, self-esteem building, and life management skills. I use Sports Psychology with competitive athletes of all ages to help them accomplish their goals.
I have been a competitive athlete and continue to enjoy running and yoga. I am a dog lover and outdoor enthusiast and have lived in Washington most my life. I support the local artist and musician community. Being a professional therapist is a true passion of mine and I work to make the therapy experience rewarding for my clients.
