Connection isn't the antidote to everything, but it can do wonders. Having a felt sense of connection with others and ourselves is often missing or underrated in our lives. As human beings, we need to feel seen, heard, and understood. Without these essential nutrients we are bound to seek fulfillment or satiation from things outside ourselves, that feel good in the moment but don’t actually meet our needs. I want to help my clients figure out what is getting in the way of having their needs met and how to approach their lives with authenticity and a broader sense of self.
Thinking is important but we can't think our way out of trauma. Those impulses that have us fight, flight, freeze or fawn are too powerful to think i'll just do something different. If we can feel whats underneath those protective impulses then you create wiring to enact change. I use AEDP, Lifespan Integration, EMDR, and more. Let's see what fits for you.
