Individuals and families can often struggle with complex transitions and emotions that are overwhelming and impacting every day life. The goal of therapy will be to help identify the basis of those struggles and to collaborate together to develop and teach skills to best manage those concerns. Our team members include highly skilled clinicians who have experience using a variety of techniques including trauma informed care, cognitive techniques, art therapy.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with over thirty years of experience working with adolescents, adults and families in need of emotional support and counseling. My first priority is to get to know my clients as individuals; what they are proudest of, what gives them joy and how they see themselves in the world.
I work with my clients to identify their struggles using compassion; reviewing history as we take steps together to create resolution. The process of trust and self disclosure can be uncomfortable but my style is patient, kind and nonjudgmental.
