My approach is warm and collaborative. I think that humor can be incredibly healing and I incorporate it when appropriate. I strongly believe that it's the authentic connection between the therapist and the client that ultimately is the most healing aspect of therapy - so my first priority is always creating a safe, cozy space where you can feel seen and understood without judgment. Once this is established, I focus on supporting your feelings, helping you reach new insights, and guiding you toward solutions to help you meet your goals.
I am constantly curious and have sought training in many modalities (including, but not limited to: EMDR, Internal Family Systems, CBT, and psychodynamic theories) so my approach is never one-size-fits-all. Instead, I create a tailored approach customized to your unique personality and life circumstances.
