Do you think nobody understands you, even your family and friends? You feel stuck in a repeated pattern of relationships. You may constantly try to prove your worth to others. I’m a licensed clinician in TX and VA. I have worked in the mental health field over 10 years. My professional interests are relationship trauma (romantic/ social/ family), grief and loss, self-criticism and identity issues. Using a holistic and intuitive approach, I can help you to bring more awareness to your childhood experiences, family origin, unconscious feelings and your current self. No matter what culture you are from, I'd love to hear your story.
I believe psychotherapy is based on the power of human connection. Rather than focusing on diagnosis, I will see who you are as a person first in a warm and safe place. I use Sandtray (for adults!), Bonny Method of Guided Imagery & Music (GIM) and Somatic Experiencing to strengthen connections between physical, emotional and your intuitive parts.
My job is to help you reconnect to your heart's wisdom which I believe everyone has. I can provide in-person or online sessions in English or Korean. Multicultural Individuals Support Group - 2024
Currently accepting new group members! This mini in-person community support group (limited to 6 participants) is for multicultural individuals from diverse backgrounds to explore their cultural identities and support each other. Music and imagery intervention may be used to build a collective healing community through creativity and intuition. This group is currently open for a new group member.
