Tired of talking? Bit of Hope Ranch offers a unique approach to counseling using traditional office therapy as well as Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Outdoor Nature Therapy. Our therapy teams use a variety of approaches to address: depression/anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, trauma, sexual abuse, ADHA/ADD, autism, behavioral modification, anger management, etc. The therapy teams also specialize in helping people who are stuck in life, adjusting to change or just needing some coaching. We also offer Christian counseling for those wanting to integrate faith in their healing.
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, EAP, is a client centered approach to therapy. Even if other therapies have failed in the past, EAP is a new approach. In EAP sessions, the client works with a horse to complete a variety of tasks. Clients create a partnership with a horse that teaches emotional fitness. Also, consider our faith based EAP as well.
The Ranch is designed to provide hope and healing by offering walking trails, outdoor sitting areas, a variety of farm animals and indoor counseling offices. Our therapy teams are EAGALA, HALT and Natural Lifemanship certified, making this therapy safe and effective. We are located in Gastonia, 30 minutes from Charlotte & Rock Hill.
