I aim to create a safe space where clients can explore multidimensional issues and set down the load of living in a messy society, even if just for an hour each week. My primary clinical experience has been working with clients in the LGBTQIA+ community and neurodivergent clients (ASD, ADHD, CPTSD, OCD, etc.). My additional work includes but is not limited to religious trauma, body neutrality, anxiety, and depression. I also love working with other clinicians. Embedded in how I support clients is my commitment to anti-racism, anti-ableism, intersectional feminism, Health at Every Size, and support for marginalized communities.
If you have ever felt that you intellectualize your emotions but don't know how to feel them, an integrative therapeutic approach might help. I incorporate mindfulness, embodiment/somatic experiencing, self-compassion, and expressive art therapy techniques. All my approaches (IFS, ACT, DBT) are through a trauma-informed lens.
Healing can happen by becoming the best version of yourself, and also by letting the worst version of yourself be loved. My practice begins with meeting you wherever you are. From there, we can build an environment of radical compassion, support, and collaboration to assist you in your journey.
