Brainspotting locates and uses points (spots) in the client's visual field to help access unprocessed trauma held in the subcortical brain. Brainspotting was discovered by David Grand Ph.D. in 2003. He discovered "where you look affects how you feel" the brain organizes itself around eye positions, especially in the subcortical brain.
